A Hero's Quest
Who so Pulleth Out This Sword of the Stone and Anvil, is Rightwise King Born of England
Plenty of characterization opportunities await your band as they retell the story of “The Sword and Stone”. A Reluctant Hero pulls the sword from the stone much to the dismay of the Evil Overlord and a battle ensues. Our Hero, wounded in the battle is magically healed, and prepares to reclaim the sword and his right to the throne. A Final Battle ensues and in the end good triumphs over evil and the sword is restored to it’s rightful owner.
A very powerful work with ample woodwind opportunities to showcase the sonorities of your marching band!
