Pathways
Pathways is a show in three movements exploring the various paths we choose throughout life.
Movement I: Follow Me is a high energy opener allowing for lots of visual opportunities to portray the “follow me” concept. Movement II: Which Way? has a more questioning bent to the music. It features Flute solo with front ensemble and culminates in a full ensemble push and ending in the question, "which way?". Movement III: One Less Traveled begins with a trumpet / snare duet continuing the question from the previous movement and eventually developing into a joyous celebration of choosing the correct path in life, even if it is less traveled. A recapitulation of the theme from movement I finishes this show on a high note.
